    Gas water heater
    I replaced the thermocoupling an the pilot light will light an stay on until I turn to the on position an turn the thermostat up to warm that's when the burner flames come on an immediately goes out including the pilot what's going wrong? Please help

    Perhaps the thermocouple was not the original problem. Perhaps the water heater (including pilot) shut down for other reasons.
    Is this a sealed combustion chamber type heater? If so check air intake filter.

    It's a he smart water has electric ignite
