    How to trouble shoot no start when warm on honda del sol
    I have a 93 honda del sol s when I go to store or stop for gas shut car off then try to start it it will turn over but doesn't start just turns over let set for 20 30 min it will start and run all day until I shut it off again I've changed main relay , tested fire have fire at spark plugs replaced igniter coil is on only 5- 6 months old fuel pump prime every e turn key t on e main relay click2 times changed el pressure regulator it seem like warm start issue to check

    I had a '99 Hyundai that did this same thing...it was the fuel pump.

    I also had a '93 Civic that did this and it turned out to be the main relay.

    Both cases I could hear the pump running but in the first place it must not have been building enough pressure.

    Are you sure the relay is ok? This is a common problem in Hondas.

    Replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM) inside the distributor. Be sure to apply silicone heat transfer compound to the back of the ICM; otherwise, it won't last long. If the coil was not new, when you replaced it, I would install a new one while you have the distributor open. This is also the ideal time to replace the rotor, if it has not been changed in 60,000 miles.

    Main relays can also be the culprit, if cold solder joints on the printed circuit board open up when the daytime temperature increases. Main relay problems are related to ambient temperature changes, not engine temperature changes.
