Nonresident NY Living in CT Tax forms
I know I have to fill out IT-203... do I have to fill out IT-2 Federal form, How would I know if I am eligible for the New York State earned income credit. I worked Per Diem at a hospital and earned less than $5,000 in NY.

For my CT forms I am filling out TaxCut... I believe I only have to fill-out Schedule 2 from the 1040 form right?

New York State tax on line 37 amount (see page 40 and Tax computation on page 77)... Am I eligible for this?
New York State household credit (from table 1, 2, or 3 on pages 40 and 41)... Am I eligible for this?

Thanks for any help you can provide me! :D

    Amelia:

You cannot expect busy tax professionals to walk you through the tax process without compensation.

If you do not understand the forms, go to a professional and let him do it.
