    How to record the factory labor cost for the month?
    How to record the factory labor cost for the month and assign factory labor to production. I keep getting confused. It's a managerial accounting question.

    I don't understand the scope of the question you are asking

    The wages of the production workers would be allocated to a factory labour cost account or if you have a more detailed accounting to the labour cost of the various departments

    In a traditional journal format debit factory labour cost credit cash or payroll clearing account
