    Leaking overflow
Hi. I have a persistent problem of a leaking overflow outside my house. I replaced the ballcock in the water tank 3 months ago with a new one. It is happening again. How long should a ballcock last as I can't afford a plumber every few months .

They should last for decades if installed correctly. Tell us exactly where/what the overflow is. Is this a water storage tank?
