    How do I deal with sprinklers?
    I am installing a tin ceiling, first installing plywood and there are 2 sprinkler heads. How do I deal with them?

    Is this residential or commercial? Is there a water shut off to the sprinklers?

    Ply is 1/2" and Tin tile is 1/8"... so that's total 5/8".... Existing fire sprinkler head (depth) should absorb new ceiling as the cover has about 1 1/2" of play...

    What was there before ? Old Ceiling ? What material ? What thickness ? Or just exposed joists ?
