Hi there, I am new to this site. I have been tracking my temp and my cycle for a while. My husband and I have been trying for about a year now. My cycle has always been consistent... 28-29 days. Well, I was 4 days late getting my period. It came but it's different. I don't feel the tired, dragging my , crampy feeling that I usually get on my first day. Can it be early pregnancy?

Some women will experience some spotting or bleeding in early pregnancy, thinking that it is just an off cycle. Usually it is off a bit by the timing, amount, and number of days that it lasts. Most often shorter duration and lighter than normal.

If what you are experiencing seems fairly normal in terms of flow and number of days that a period lasts for you, it likely is a period. Being off by a few days now and then is not very unusual... and symptoms don't always have to be the same either.

If it seems unusual in more than just showing up a few days late, and since you have been trying to become pregnant, give it a few days to see if anything else is different about it. If so, you can always try a pregnancy test.
