    Any difference on which floor to renovate first
    I have a two story multi family house. Will it make any difference if I start to renovate bottom up (1st floor than second) or top down?

    Renovate top first. Otherwise, you will be hauling debris and materials through the newly renovated space.

    Brian is right. Best to do top floor first, unless the first floor apt can be closed off from the second floor. Then it does not matter.
