I'm 34 yrs old , 4 month pregnant and now bleeding and pain in pelvic area after exam
Im around 4 months pregnant . I went an saw a nurse practisionor on 1/12 . She said the baby is great and strong heartbeat . I saw the hands head and heart , was so happy . She was alil rough while giving me the exam . She had told me I have a polyp on my uterus and that's y Im bleeding a little . 4 hrs later I started bleeding heavy and having pain right where she put the ultra sound wand . She couldn't find heartbeat , the machine was bought in and that's when everything was seen . She pushed for awhile . Its now 3 days later , I'm still bleeding and some pain in the spot where she was pushing . I contacted her and she told me to relax . I want to know if the baby is protected good in my belly and maybe she just bruised me with the pushing . And being I already have the extra skin growth that causes some bleeding , that maybe it just got heavier from "hopefully be bruised . Please tell me any information that you may think . Please give all ideas an experiences and concern. Thank you . Kelly Leach

Kelly, I really wish we could tell you what's going on, but there's no way to do that online. I can appreciate your concern, I've been there, done that, and it's horrible not knowing what's going on, and having no one that's able to tell you if everything is all right.

My only suggestion is to talk to your OBGYN. Does he/she know about the heavy bleeding? If not, you need to tell your OBGYN about this. Any bleeding during pregnancy, especially heavy bleeding, needs to be assessed.

I wish you the best of luck and I truly hope that everything will be okay. Please keep us posted on how you're doing.

Edit: If you're bleeding through a pad every hour, and have severe cramps or clots, please go to the ER immediately.
