Can someone tell me how to delete a search engine? I am giving my lap top to someone and I don't want all my previous searches to pop up when they go to search something. I already deleted all of my previous history but the my searches are still there.. can someone help me please?

If you are concerned about privacy then your best approach would be a complete system rebuild.

If it's simply internet history, then they are normally located in the internet options section of your browser.

I think you are talking about search suggestions provided by search engine based on your search queries. There will be an option for you to turn off this suggestion no matter what browser you are currently using. Try right-clicking on the search bar on the browser and select turn off search suggestions.

If it's a Toolbar, there may also be a listing for it in Add/Remove Programs. Uninstall the Toolbar in that case.

You can delete the browsing history by using short cut keys ctrl + Shift + delete to remove the search and browsing history.
