I was 2 weeks and bit late but I am irregular and I am now currently on my period but not as heavy as normal, but I have belly cramps, backache, bigger boobs, slighty sore nipples, constipation, headaches and not sleeping great, belly is bloated and feels really unconforble, am I pregnant? Took a pregancy test today but didn't do it correctly but still came up negative.

Plus is it worrying because I'm always really late on my periods?

If you are on your period most likely you are not pregnant. You are experiencing menstruation symptoms.

I have to agree with J9, if you're having your period, you're not pregnant. All the symptoms you're describing are symptoms of pregnancy, but they're also symptoms of PMS, and menstruation.

Having said that, it is possible to experience bleeding during pregnancy. It's not your period however. Once you're pregnant your period stops.

If you feel that this bleeding isn't the norm, wait another week or so and then try another pregnancy test. This time take it correctly, with first morning urine and follow the directions exactly! If that test is negative, wait for your next period. If you miss it test again or get a blood test done.

Okay thank you, was just worried because I don't normally get half of these symptoms when on or due, as cramping is vary rare and the others apart from being bloated and discomfort are the main ones I normally get one on or due on, thank you bit more of a relief if that it shows I can't be pregnant as such

Sorry for asking so many qestions!

Well as in my previous qestion I asked if I could be pregnant but because I was on my sort of period but then I had a slightly heavier flow that only lasted about a minute and since then I have pretty much came off my period but it not a normal colour of a period it a dark to brown colour and the pregancy symptoms have sort of gone except got backache and few cramps and felt slightly sick after and feeling tired. But I took 2 pregancy test one on the day when I felt strange after the heavier flow and one the next Morning and they came up with a faint positive result. What does this mean?

U might be pregnant >< how long was it since your last drop? Wait about week then test again.

A faint positive means there's a good chance that you're pregnant. It may still be too early to get an accurate result with an at home urine test, but a false positive is very rare, even if it's a faint positive.

I would get a blood test done at this point.

Okay thank you, last night I did take a clear blue test last night and it said negatvie, but I'm going to ring the doctors this morning, and thank you. But like you said could be to earlier to detect. And I came of completley yesterday morning
