    Wondering...
    I'm in Los Angeles Ca my fiancé is in OC county Jail my question is "Can I have the pastor of my church marry us"? Because even though he is in jail we want as much tradition as possible

    You will have to contact the chaplain office for the jail. Normally (but not always) since jail is normally for 1 year or less. They do not allow weddings, but you can check. If they allow weddings then your pastor will have to be approved by the jail. This may as simple as checking in as visitor, or they may require background check on pastor, to serve as pastor within jail.

    Most prisons have systems for the marriage.

    Also, your boyfriends, security status and visitor rights all apply to the issues
