This will be my 3rd pregnancy, so I know what it feels like and the symptoms I currently have, I only get when I am pregnant. I had some light bleeding (dark) on 10/20 (not even enough to fill a light liner), and half as much the next two days. I ovulated around the 10th. The bleeding would have been 5 days before my expected period. We have been trying for almost 3 months now (pretty much every other day). I am now 1 week late and have all the symptoms of pregnancy that I had with my last two: indigestion, metallic taste, coffee tasting horrible (only when pregnant), darkened and large areolas, tender breasts, nausea, fatigue, dizziness, feeling of fullness in uterus, lower back aches, going to the bathroom more. I have taken 4 home pregnancy tests (dollar tree brand, always worked before), 10/25, 10/27, 10/29, 11/1. I have a doctors appointment on 11/10, but I don't know if I can wait that long. Should I try a different brand in a couple days? Any recommendations for inexpensive, reliable brands?

If you can't stand the wait, if still no period after a few more days, test again. Dollar Tree brand tends to be pretty sensitive, as do CVS or Walmart.

One week, is a little early to start testing, as many do not show correct testing, till after 2nd and some even third week late.

So you can keep testing every couple of days, till doctors appointment. Be sure it is always first urine of the day, as soon as you wake up.

** also you do realize trying every other day, may be counter productive. Ovulation needs to be tracked medically, and then sex scheduled for the 2 and 3 days before ovulation.
