    Ovulation
Hi,I have question with regards to utrogestan (progesteronum micronisatum 100mg in 1 capsule) My gynecologist in Czech repiblic prescribed me an utrogestan because I am not ovulating( don't get period at al)I was taking 2 utrogestan tablets on 16-27th day of my cycle but always got period after 4th day being on pil so I stopped taking the pill thinking I might get period naturally but unfortunately I didn't get my period since then. I would like to take utrogestan again but don't know when I should take it as I don't have period at all. My medical insurance is not valid anymore in Czech Republic as I am not student anymore so I went to see my gp in Scotland and ask if I can get injection to start my period but been told they don't do anything like that in Scotland and she didn't help me at all.
    Thank you very much

Go to a different doctor. I am assuming you're under the Healthcare plan there. They should do that, get a recommendation to a OB/GYN and go from there.

What did your gp say about using progesterone again? As was said, seeing a gyn would usually be a better choice in regards to your reproductive health.

Progesterone is commonly used in tablet form when used for regulating cycles. Without regular periods, your doctor would likely suggest just picking a day to start, or try to remember where in a month you took the capsules before. The idea is that when you finish the last tablet, your period will start within a few days time. It can take a couple of cycles to see a pattern. There are also herbal supplements that women will sometimes use to try and regulate cycles. You can ask your doctor about that possibility.

First, however, if they didn't already do an actual hormone test before, that would be a wise thing to ask about having done.
