    Ford Taurus transaxle problem
My car is a 96 Ford Taurus (3.0L)... I replaced the damaged front motor-mount due to the transmission jump when I shift it from neutral to drive and the engine it's not to warm ( It never did that before ) I changed the ATF (new) and the filter(new)... still the trans. Behaves the same... It's there something that I can do to fix that problem besides taking it to the trans. Mechanic and paid a fortune to have it repaired?. Also the trans. Seems to shift around 40 mph after it already had shift to 3rd gear... I'll appreciate your advise in this matter. THX Tony C. My e-mail ID is [email protected]

The only other thing you can do is hook-up an advanced scan tool and check for codes/pending codes. The clutch packs may be starting to go.
