Well water smells and lots of white stuff floating in cold tap water only... Hot water is cloudy but no white things floating.. There are lots of white stuff... sometimes the water is discolored.
Sometimes water is a light black color but right now that black colored water is gone... I did not have the problem until they built the new house on the hill above me... Please help thanks in advance Doug |

It wasn't like this until about a month ago. Run hot or cold water and it is the same smell and taste. The only place that doesn't taste this way is the water that comes from the refrigerator. Where is this coming from and hoe can I fix it?

I've tried opening and closing the valves leadind to the water heater but nothing happened, no water into the heater and nothing out of the drain. I have also heard of some sort of electrode that can be attached to pipes for possible defrosting, but I can't seem to locate any in Albuquerque.
My cold water is working OK but my hot water is a trickle then stops and that if for hours what could be the problem
