    Hot water heater leaking
We went on vacation for 10 days and did not turn the hot water heater to vacation mode.
We returned and did a lot of laundry and dishes, can noticed water around the hot water hear, not from the bottom, and it pooled in the corner.
Should we have it replaced its 8 years old and we have a 12 year warranty?

    Hi Nlopez

I'd strongly suggest getting a plumber out to look at the water heater and its connections. If you are lucky, the connection to the pipe nipple on top has gone bad and the nipple/fitting can be repaired and the water heater can be salvaged.

    Back to you...
