    I have a hitia hernia and it's a sliding one
    I have a sliding hitia hernia and just in the last 5 days have experienced pain dizzy and light headed to point I feel like passing out weakness and went to the er room and all they did was give me a gravol shot and sent me home I am about ready to give up and just wait and see if my hernia erupts and then maybe gets something done please tell me if I should go back or just wait it out

    It is Hiatal Hernia by the way. The symptoms you are experiencing do not normally appear with this condition, which is an internal organ pushing out. The only symptom you should be having is heartburn, which would not cause the dizzyness and light headed feeling, so something else is going on with you causing these symptoms.

    They gave you a gravol shot because of the heartburn. I think you need another visit to your doctor to explain these current symptoms you are having.

    Other then this, I cant diagnose you on line, no one could do that.

    You could go to the ER, but the better choice would be your doctor.

    And have the hernia repaired. In most cases it is same day surgery. A friend of mine just had 2 done in 1 day and was released the same day.
