    Birth Control
    I am taking the birth control Gildess 1/20. It is the 21 day pack. I finished my first pack and had my period within the 7 off days. I started the second pack on the correct day and take my pills at the same time everyday. I am halfway through this month and I am experiencing more milky/white discharge and stomach cramps than I did in the first month. Is this normal? I have about a week and a half left in the second pack.

    There are a number of possible side effects that you could experience, especially when first starting Gildess. Sometimes it can take a few cycles for your body to adjust to the change in hormones.

    If it continues, or you feel that it is excessive, it wouldn't hurt to let your doctor know. Some women find side effects subside, some find they become too bothersome and decide to try a different type of pill.
