Hello I am having the hardest time trying to figure out if I am having pregnancy symptoms or menstrual symptoms. My last cycle was July 10th and my next cycle was to start on the 12th of this month but this is what happened. Four days before my period was suppose to spot I started to spot and then I had some light bleeding compared to my normal bleeding when it's that time of the month. Monday I started spotting again and the day my period was suppose to start I was still spotting. I am still spotting now a day after I'm suppose to have my period. What is going on? I'm so confused

I'm guessing you are young because #1, you apparently havend had many if any irregualr periods yet, and #2 you think al pregnant women have "symptoms" other than being late for their period.

Fact is all you are doing is making wild guesses until you are twop weeks late, because you really can't get a good test result before then on a HPT.

But I'm guessing in the next few days you will have your regular period start.

You may just miss a period sometimes, other times very heavy, other times very light.

So now there is no way to tell. I will assume you are sexually active.

If no period in about two week, take a test
