    Hi,
Does the clutch feel a bit more difficult to push than in the past? What happens with Transmatic drive sysems (variable speed) is that they can jam or stick when they stop without the clutch being depressed. Cure is to crank engine, put in neutral, select the highest speed on the speed range control, let out clutch until you hear the system whirring under the mower, push in clutch, select forward or reverse and desired speed and release the clutch.
    Peace,
    Clarke
