    Ending support
My husband has been paying child support for two of his daughter who are 19 and 20 both have kids and neither one are in school. One works full time and the other one works full time some weeks and some part time can we have child support dropped in NY or get them emancipated

First, its not a good idea to piggy back your question on another thread. To avoid confusion your post has been moved to its own thread.

NYS says support goes to 21. However, if the children become emancipated it could be ended earlier. If they no longer live at home and are supporting themselves that should qualify as being emancipated. Your husband should get an attorney to file for modification of the support order.
