Hello I have a francis bacon piano that my father bought for a quarter a week the plate under the lid of the piano states that it is a Francis Bacon Piano Co. New york, established in 1789 the serial number is 230747 there is some other information from the back of the piano and here it is

I would love to know how much this piano is worth it is in excellent condition and still plays.

It had to have been built between 1904 and 1934.
Finding it's value takes a lot more than some numbers. You don't even say what kind of piano it is (upright, grand, baby grand, player, etc). Take several pictures and contact local piano dealers. The high cost of shipping would mean it would have to be an extremely rare and valuable one if you were to sell it any way but locally. It is a good and historical name, but probably a piano you will have to sell locally.

Thank you I will find out more information tomorrow I don't know the difference between an up right or any other piano I will also post some pictures of it tomorrow when I take them
