    2002 dodge intrepid se wouldn't start dash lights go's out take a few minutes to come
    Make no sound battery has 12.5 volts. When not connected. When connected in has 6.5 volts.

    Remove and fully charge, or replace, the battery--most auto parts stores will do this for free. Ensure the battery terminals and cable connections are clean and tight. Also, be sure to clean the starter motor connections. I suspect you need a new battery.
