    "My son is 17 will be 18 in sept.He has been physically and mentally abusive to me. This morning at 4:15 he tore my front door up by kicking it. Can I take him off my lease and put him out of my home. Or can I have some kind of protection order filed against him? We live and the housing projects and I take care of my sick grandmother. I'm afraid we will have to
    Move soon if he continue with this behavior

    Have you called the police on him? He's a minor....hes NOT one of the leaseholders, You are, . The day he turns 18 he legally becomes YOUR tenant and you can have him evicted.

    I'd start with the police. If you have the means to record any of these outbursts (like a cell phone), it will make your case easier.

    Probably. Check with the clerk of court to see what forms are avaiiable for that.

    Your question is in the "Criminal Law" forum. Note that normally domestic violence protection orders are a "civil" matter (as opposed to criminal), unless the order has been issued and then violated.

    You will need proof of all of this. How often have you called the police.

    He should be in jail or juv detention if he did this, after you called the police and the police arrested him.

    Get a protective order at this point,
