I was in the hairdressers and they ask me to stand up so they could cut it ( cause my hair is really long ) and then after about one or two miniutes I felt dizzy and sick and then every thing went like these fuzzy bright lights and I couldn't see, well I could only see like shapes of things and stuff, I freaked out and said that I couldn't see, this only lasted for about 30 seconds, so the hairdresser took me down stairs and then everything sounded like my ears had popped ( I don't think mine had ) they wased my eyes with water and I felt better after that but now I feel qiute dizzy and stuff. What should I do please help!! Thanks

1. You may be allergic to volatile chemicals used there. Many hairdressers get sick and many now use 'green' ones.
2. You may have been dehydrated. One little drink of water cures it.
3. Your blood pressure may have dropped. This can be for all sorts of reasons, too many to list.
4. Possible pregnancy.
5. Coincidence - getting the flu or a stomach virus, just about anything.

Generally don't worry about it unless it lasts or happens a lot - then, of course, see a doctor.
Drink liquids, rest, nibble on dry toast or crackers, put your feet up, make sure you aren't getting the flu, then see a doctor.

Sounds like a case of orthostatic hypotension. You blood pressure dropped when you stood up. Make sure you stay well hydrated. If it continues to happen see your doctor.
