Do I need a shower pump when running shower from mains
I am about to install a mixer tap enclosed shower, in place from my old bath/electric shower. What do I need to take into consideration to do this. Will I need a shower pump for water pressure or will mains pressure be enough for it. Also where would I install the pump if I did need it does it have to be in the bathroom? Final question is will it be a big job where I would need a professional or is it easily diy?

More details please! Is a shower the only fixture that you have low-pressure on? Do you have good pressure on the other fixtures? Do you know your house PSI? Is your water pump to a holding tank in the attic and gravity fed to the rest of the house? Are you in the UK? Back to you, Tom

I've recently had a new bathroom put in, with a mains shower (used to be electric). But now my shower keeps running hot-cold-hot-cold every minute or so. My bath tap and sink tap in the bathroom are running fine, it's just the shower. I was told this shouldn't happen as I have a combi-boiler but...
