    Help! Flushed a nail polish
This morning I knocked a bottle of nail polish into the toilet as it was flushing ( not a good way to start the day) I tried to grab it but no luck. I flushed the toilet again, not sure if that was the smartest idea but it flushed fine. Do you think it was small enough to make it through? I don't have the money for a plumber so any ideas that you have that I can do myself would be amazing. Thanks so much!

All you can do right now is wait and see... but I think its likely to get stuck someplace along the way because pipes are anything but smooth and free of anything on the walls that might hinder it sliding on by freely.

I don't think its big enough on its own to cause a problem... but if it becomes lodged in a crud deposit, it might help to cause other things to build up and cause a problem down the road. Or maybe not.

Let's do some checking. Is the bottle glass or plastic? Take a big wad of toilet paper and flush it down. Did the toilet and begin the backup? If it didn't backup then flush another wad down. If both blockages work I think it will be okay. If it backs up then let me know about it and I will instruct you on how to auger your toilet. Good luck, Tom

If the paper flushes down then I think you are going to be okay. Did you take your hand and try to see if there is caught up in the bend? Let me know what you find. Good luck, Tom

The paper went down OK three times And it all seems OK... I tried to feel for it this morning and could not. So I'm hoping I'm out of the woods?

Tom thank you very much for taking the time out of your day to help me. I currently have a ton of vet bills and zero extra money, so not having to call a plumber was awesome. Thanks for making my crappy day a bit better

Ok when I flush the toilet it's fine. When it refills the water makes little bubbles? Sign of a partial blockage?

They are tiny surface bubbles on the water not big air bubbles

Tiny bubbles do not indicate a partial blockage. It doesn't sound serious to me. Good luck, Tom
