    Lennox HS29-030-1P contactor compressor
I am having issues with my unit. . Damn goat chewed through my wires now that that's fixed when I turn my air on nothing happens. Checked my breaker and getting power to the contactor. Just not engaging on its own. When I manually depress the contactor in will turn on.. can the contactor be bad since dummy chewed and possibly shorted it out? Ty

I'd look in to another line being disconnected or not properly connected. If the unit works manually closing the contactor, it could be bad but I lean more toward the contactor coil not getting a signal from the thermostat.

Check for blown fuse in inside control unit.

I have power to the unit. Could it be the capacitor? When it turns on it don't blow air inside like its not getting relay to the thermostat

Lennox condensing unit mod# HS29-030-1P [ 3 Answers ]

Great service, here, at askmehelpdesk/heating & ac. Been reading up on past Q&A, and have performed basic TS on my 9 yr-old Lennox condensing unit (mod# HS29-030-1P). When it failed a few days ago, the first thing I noticed was the rusty dual-run cap (C12). It showed no "bowing", but I could feel...
