    Thermostat
    I have six wires going to my thermostat the colors are RED,WHITE,BLUE,YELLOW,ORANGE,&VIOLET it mights be PURPLE my question is where does each wire go on thermostat

    Thermostat should have a wiring diagram inside or with the thermostat. You didn't mention a brand so you might want to go to the manufacturers website and see if they don't have a PDF file.
