    Sump pump problems
    Sump pump is running longer than usual... still empties the basket but takes much longer... bubble coming up from under the pump... pump is not hot.. or even warm.. but working and discharging water OK.. what should I do..

    Possible debris in the drain line. How is it hooked up? Into sewer or outside?

    bubble coming up from under the pump
    partial blockage on the drain line sounds right to me Brian. Bubble happened when the discharge hits a blockage and bounces back sending a bubble of air ahead of it. Checked and cleaned line. Good luck, Tom
