How do you get rid of sewer gas smell under bathroom sink
Sewer smell under bathroom sink. Have changed vent valve 3 times, used Drano, and snaked it. Improved water flow but still have the smell coming from vent. Has been humid and rainy more than usual. None of the other sinks have this problem.

Vent, AAV I would presume, should not go bad that often. Could be a blocked roof vent that bubbles back through the sink trap.

Sewer Smell from Bathroom Sink [ 10 Answers ]

I think I know what the problem is, the plumbing was not done correctly. The toilet is flushed and I believe it is siphoning out the water from the sink. It doesn't seem to effect the shower though. I just need to confirm and try to find a solution. It is a vertical stack (2nd Floor Bath) with...
