Two days ago I experienced what seemed to be the beginning of my period (which usually is about 2 days heavy flow and then just spotting for the next two). But now on day 2 I don't seem to be bleeding at all. It's very odd because I wouldn't be expecting my period for at least another week and a half, but I am also very irregular in my cycle. Could this be a sign of early pregnancy? I had intercourse 5 days ago.

It would be a bit early for possible implantation, which some women will notice short term spotting or light bleeding from. More likely it is due to your irregular cycles. With irregular cycles, hormones also tend to rise and fall at irregular times and this can result in sporadic bleeding.

You'd have to wait and see what happens when you expect your next period.
