I am 37 weeks pregnant. I was told if the baby doesn't come on her own then I will be induced at 39 weeks. She's measuring two weeks behind and her placenta fluid is a 9 I was told it should be between 8 & 20. She usually is pretty active early mornings, and later afternoons. For the past two days she has barely moved at all. Even when I drink a caffeinated beverage. I'm not sure if I should go to be checked or not. I have another non stress test on Monday, but this is really worrying me because she's always moving.

Try getting something to eat and a glass full of something cold to drink then go lie down for a while and see if you notice movement. If you do, keep track as to how long it takes to feel ten movements... it can be flutters, jabs, kicks, etc. If you are still concerned, get checked out at the ER if need be. Better to be on the safe side.

Measuring 2 weeks behind towards the end of pregnancy does not necessarily mean a concern, in fact it is not uncommon at all. How was the measurement determined? Have you just recently started measuring behind?

Your fluid level is down slightly but not at a critical level. Even by your doctor's standards it is within the "normal" range...which can vary a bit by care provider. While it naturally will go down at the end of pregnancy, it can be helpful to be sure that you are taking in plenty of fluids as well... (can't hurt, might help)

If you doctor or midwife were very concerned, they would want to do further testing and/or consider an induction sooner. Hopefully they will check again before deciding to induce in case things haven't changed much, in-which case it might not be necessary. If they do find that levels are decreasing too much, then induction is the option most often used. You might ask to have it checked again at your next visit just for the peace of mind.
