No, it's not normal. The dog needs to see a vet.

Not worms, but means her anal glands need to be cleaned out. Take her to the vet.

Most likely impacted anal glands, but could also be worms. Either way, time for a vet visit.

Anal glands!! They need expressed. Some dogs have a difficult time expressing the glands themselves and need assistance. Make an appointment at your vet.. the groomers express externally and if there happens to be infection, than not all of the material is expressed out.

If this is the first time, than more than likely it is an infection. If it happens often, than you should probably add more fiber to the dogs diet in order for a larger BM to help express the glands.

    Very minor issue.

And no... when dogs scoot their bottoms, that is not ever, and never will be, an indication they have worms.

    Thanks Lucky for the info.

My poodle used to scoot all the time. Our vet told us it was worms. In fact, until I got Indy, my lab, I had never even heard of anal glands becoming impacted. He had that issue a lot, and I learned how to express them myself. Nasty work. Very nasty, still gag when I think about it. But Indy never did the scoot. I only noticed the first time because he was miserable. On the way to the vet his anal glands released, in my car. That was fun. NOT! :(

Just another indication though that my old vet was an idiot. Our poodle was given de-wormer every time we brought him in because he was scootching. :(
