Several positive tests and several negatives. Had two periods.
I had several positive home tests. A doctor ordered a urine test which came back negative. A digital test came back not pregnant. Was three weeks late, but had a period, and another one. Today I found a test, took it, and it is positive. What could be going on

Many tests will be positive when you aren't if you check them an hour or more after you take it.

Are you reading them ONLY within the time limit written in the instructions? NOT beyond it.

At this point I would go into the doctor and get a blood test. Things are all over the place and I got the same feeling smoothy does, that you've read an old test way after the results were valid. Usually having the periods are a clear indicator that you're not pregnant. In this case I would go to the doctor just to be sure. There are cases, and they're not common so don't start believing that is what you're seeing, that women have what they think are periods through their pregnancy.

The urine tests might have been done to early to detect. That is what happened to me. You need a blood test or ultrasound to know for sure.

False positives are rare, but I'm getting the same feeling Smoothy and Craven had, that you read the tests later than advised. An at home test is only valid when it's read in the allotted time frame.

Having said that, I've known many women that had positive tests at home, but nothing but negative tests at the doctors office. I've also known many women that bled throughout their entire pregnancy, thinking it was a period.

I would wait and see what happens with your next period. If you miss it, test again, and make sure to follow the instructions on the test exactly. If that test is positive I'd ask the doctor for an ultrasound to confirm.
