    21hp craftsman 42" riding mower has no power
    Mower starts and runs however it won't idle up. When u try to engage the blades is dies.

    Are you new to the mower? One thing for sure, you can't put the blades in gear from an idle. My mower has to be running at almost full speed when I engage the blades. Sometimes it took several tries when it was new.
