My cat has bald spots on her face
I took her to the vet but he didn't say much, he said it's a fungus and gave me medicine. Should I be worried about her? And would it effect me cause I heard that skin problems in cats can be infectious to humans?

I would wait to see if the medication works before being worried.

Also, if your vet thought it was a type of fungus that was contagious he probably would have warned you, but if you are concerned just wash your hands after touching her or applying the medication (I am assuming it is some sort of cream)

Bald spots [ 1 Answers ]

I woke up one morning and noticed I had a bald spot about the size of a nickel in the back of my head. A couple weeks later now three more spots have popped up but they are somewhat smaller than the first one. What could be causing my hair to disappear in spots like this?
