Drive Belt on 24 Hp flopping and rattling noise after releasing clutch
Evertime I release the Clutch/Brake the mower makes a rattling noise and the Clutch/Brake pedal shakes up and down and the Drive Belt up toward the Engine flopps around real Bad. Neighbor said I needed new Drive Belt. Put new Belt on and it still does the same thing.

I just had the "fun" of putting a new drive belt on a 1986 130John Deere lawn tractor. I purchased the belt from my local John Deere dealer. My problem is it will not release when the clutch is pushed down. The clutch is working. Is there any adjustment on the clutch linkage. Steve
Hi! I recently had my 2001 civic Clutch changed at a auto place. A few months after, I noticed that when I STEP ON THE CLUTCH, all I hear is my quiet engine. When I LET GO OF THE CLUTCH, I hear a rattling noise. Could this be just a loose screw? Or it needs oil somewhere?
48" CUT Craftsman Riding Lawn Mower. Got belt installed but having trouble knowing how to connect the clutch wire. Any way looks like it will get caught up in the belt when on. Please help...
Engine runs fine, starts right up, but when I put it in gear, as soon as I release the clutch/brake it kills the engine. It does the same thing if I try and engage the blades. Please don't tell me it's the transmission. Please.
