Is exposed pvc pipe across walking closet wall OK?
We looked at a condo in Fl. That has 2" pvc running from under the bathroom vanity through (exposed) walk-in closet out to the garage and drains by a utility tub. There is not much supporting it

    Hi Hhf86

Horizontal PVC pipe is required, by code, to be supported every 4 feet...no exceptions, so be sure that the current owner addresses that before signing on any dotted lines. In terms of the pipe running across the closet, there is no code violation there and if it really bugs you, you cam always have a soffit box built around it to cover it up when/if you purchase the property.

    Good luck!
