So I am 3 days late on my period, me and my boyfriend had sex on April 3rd and he didn't eject. I got my period on April 12th so I though there was no way I could be pregnant. The period actually came a day early but it's irregular so I wasn't surprised. Basically I went to get a yearly check up and the doctor took cultures not a pregnancy test because like I said I got my period on April 12th. I just got a phone call from the nurse and she said I have a yeast infection. We'll I had back to back yeast infections in April so I know how they feel, completely uncomfortable I do not have those symptoms right now so I really am confused about a yeast infection because when I get them the symptoms are horrible and I have no symptoms at all. Now I was wondering could I really be pregnant or could this yeast infection just delay my period. When I'm suppose to get my period I get the pms symptom and the symptom that I usually get and has been very accurate for years now is very enlarged Breast and my nipples would be really sore about a week before I'm suppose to get my period that's how I know my flow is coming. But that never happened, even being 3 days late I still do nt have that regular symptom I usually get, although my boobs are huge, they aren't sore though just very large. I've also been getting minor cramps. I usually get cramps the day of my period and they hurt really bad not a week before. I've been having minor cramps for about a week in a half now also to mention I've had a discharge that sounds like pregnancy discharge, it's milky white and sticky and I've had some pains near my hips and ribs that I've never felt before. Basically I'm just confused on if I'm pregnant or not, could a yeast infection cause my period to be late, but why am I feeling cramps a week before when I usually don't and why are my breast so big. If someone has any answers or have experienced this before please reply and help me. If I am pregnant I calculated my period from April 12th and I would be about 6 weeks. I have a lot more details but I want to hear others answers before I get more into it! Thank you guys!

Well you have a yeast infection if the culture shows you do. Nobody can guess if you are pregnant this soon. Wait two weeks after a missed period and take a pregnancy test with first morning ursine.

3 days is not even considered late. You said you not regular also. Stress about pregnancy can cause late cycle. You have yeast infection. Deal with it. Not very likely for pregnancy, but slightly possible.

If you had what you believe to be a normal period in April, and haven't had sex since the beginning of April, it is likely that you are not pregnant. Depending on the cause of the yeast infection, it very well may effect your period. Wait another week and see if your period shows up. If still no period, try a pregnancy test.
