My boyfriend seems to have a yeast infection and would like to know what over the counter medication to take?

Where is the infection? How does he know it's a yeast infection?

I'd like to know how he thinks he has one... I'm 53 and have seen many in women... never one in a guy... a guy can carry it and give it back to her but in a guy unles he has absolutely horrendous personal hygene, he would never know.

I'm guessing he was banging another girl that has one and he's afraid of giving it to you.

Well from what I know they can get them and the symptoms he has I know is a yeast infection but the head of his gets itchy and sore and red

Ordinarily, women get all the signs of yeast, and men might or might not. So how is it that he has signs and you don't? That suggests that he has another kind of infection, if he didn't catch yeast from you. Or, as suggested, he's fooling around. In other words, you need to insist that he be tested for all STDs with you there, before you have sex with him again.

It is quite possible that this is a yeast infection if your boyfriend is uncircumcised.

However, as was said, he should see a doctor for a proper diagnosis.
