    Birth Control
Hello I started my very first birth control pack on the first day of my period-and finished the first month, got my period and proceeded on the second pack. Here I am day two of the inactive pill of the second pack and I am worried because I didn't wait a month before relying solely on the pill. I am protected right?

THe inactive pills are the last 7 in the pack for the 4 week period.

If you are on the second packs inactive pills you've been through TWO months of pills (or more accurately two months of active pills and one of the inactive).

Also remember that the pill isn't 100% effective... but its close. Using THRRE forms of birth control still won't guarantee 100% that you won't get pregnant. We have a few members here that did (using three forms), one more than once.

    That's somethng to always remember.
