    Carrier furnace woes
Hello, my name is Steve and I have a carrier 58PAV111 electronic ignition furnace that is giving me grief! The story... burners shut down and blower continues to run. LED code is 13. If we shut down power and let it sit for 5 minutes (as the instructions say) it will reset and run just fine or a day or so. Filter is new and clean. Furnace was cleaned about a year ago. Any ideas?
    Thanks!

Hi there, yes it does say that, and also refers to "33" which lists several possibilities, that is where the confusion comes in as three pros have given me three different answers?? One said it was over heating another said just clean off the corrosion on the metal flame sensor rod.

 I'm not that handy but I'm learning. I have a five year old house I just bought and I don't know where is the furnace filter. My furnace is laying on its right side so any info will be great. Is it inside or on the bottom? The model is 58STA-58STX Carrier furnace.

I have a Carrier Furnace that will not light. It has an electronic igniter. I turn the power off and on and the blower works but it will not ignite. It cycles two or three times and turns off. It has a red light that blinks on and off intermittently.

I am looking at furnace for a friend. The furnace will come on with that small fan and the pilot will light. However, the burner will not catch. This unit has a igniter I suspect that the igniter is bad. Is there any way to test it?
