    Theft by deception
Individual purchases a vehicle and places $20.000 down in cash and needs a co-signer for the rest of the amount for the vehicle. Individual takes vehicle home, co-sign has name and address on contact also, and then leaves with vehicle. Is there a Theft by Decepton?

What do you mean by "co-sign has name and address on contact also, and then leaves with vehicle?" The co-signor I assume is co-signing a loan for the remainder of the purchase price. Who "left" with the vehicle - the purchaser? Please clarify - tell us why you think a theft has taken place.

I agree, post and question to vague. Who is claiming theft ? Who took car, co signer or person who bought car?
