    Civil Action Hearing
    Hello I am being sued for a loan debt. I have no job and I wanted to know if they can attach my Husbands wages for this debt? I live in Pennsylvania.

    Not if he isn't signed on the loan. But they CAN attach joint bank accounts.

    Okay thank you. Do you know if the can put a lien on my car? I am going to try to contact the collection agency to see if they are willing to negotiate outside of court..

    Most likely they will not go after non-cash assets. It usually costs them more to repo and sell then its worth.

    Before, yes. But it depends on how strong a case they have.

    I guess it wouldn't hurt to give them a call. I can't afford to pay the whole thing at once. But I can make monthly payments
