    Can I be sued?
    Was in an accident yesterday, at stop light, woman was on phone visibly, started to accelerate stopped. I tapped her car, no visible damage, because we were within two jurisdictions both police arrived.. both concurred, no damage, no report, I was issued a citation for following two close. Now, I rec'd call this am from her ins agent threatening suit, saying she has horrific injuries... again, no visible damage to vehicle I have pics, I did contact my agent to make him aware, however I'm terrified now...

    Don't worry about it. You have insurance, so you are covered. If she does sue, the insurance company will pay for your attorney and any amount she recovers (up to your policy limit).

    It of course. Up to the limit. My last wreck, I carried 100,000 liability, the law suit was for about triple that. Was able to finally settle for max of insurance company. But you never know.

    Doubt it was really her insurance, they normally don't threaten to sue. Just ask for it in writing. Do not talk or give statements on phone. Unless you have clear it with your insurance company

    Talk to your agent and find out who to refer her rep to. Then if you receive any further calls tell them who to call. This is why you have insurance.

    I agree... tell them to talk with your insurance agency... not you... say nothing more about anything, anything you say to them is going to hurt... not help you... even if she attempting insurance fraud...
