    Connection of dc motor
Do I have to use thick wire all the way to 12 volts battery to connect dc motor for lifting purposes? And what materials do I need to complete this project? Motor is 0.8 kw rating with solenoid sitting piggy back, a diagram would be much appreciated, great site this .:)

The wire from the power source to the motor will need to be able to carry about 70 amps, with the load being 800 watts at 12 volts.

Need to know a great deal more details of the project to be able to speculate the materials needed, other than #4 copper wire.
