hello ladies, i am 5 days late, been experiencing nausea, frequent urination, fatigue, and sometimes when i burp i have acid reflex, not sure if thats associated with pregnancy, me and my boyfriend go through the pregnancy 'scare' every month because my period comes 1-2 days later each month, but it has never been this late, and suggestions?

Take a EPT test. And if this is a monthly "scare" as you put it then you need to rethink whats going on in your life.

If you are so paranoid every month... maybe its time you start using multiple forms of birth, with one of them being condoms.

But even that won't assure you can't get pregnant... not having sex until you are ready to become parents is the only certain way.

Try a pregnancy test, making sure that you follow the directions carefully. If it is negative, wait several more days and see if your period is just late. If still no period either try another test or see your doctor for a test there. Periods can be off a bit for a variety of reasons, but given the other possible pregnancy symptoms it would be wise to find out.

Are you using any form of birth control? If not, and if it turns out that you are not pregnant, discuss options with your boyfriend and with your doctor if you are wanting to lessen the odds of an unplanned pregnancy and not have so much worry each month from being a couple of days late here and there.
