    Hcg levels
    I am 3-4 weeks pregnant had hcg drawn was 443 48hrs laster 433 no s/s of bleeding or cramping progesterone level is good what can cause hcg level to drop could this mean miscarraige.

    Hi bb38,

    Unfortunately, it is possible that a miscarriage may occur, but it's not a definite. This early on, it really is a matter of waiting and seeing. Your doctor will likely do another check to see whether there has been an increase or a continued decrease. Depending on what the next level shows, an ultrasound may be done.
